Our very own member, Thom Stasser had a song written about him when he went up against the County about remodeling his mom's old house. First they gave him permits and then denied his permission when someone compained that his miner's shack was historical. Thom and his mom's house was outside the historical district, it was falling down, no foundation and draft. It's a great story, told in this song.
